Lucas appears as an advocate for clients, both at interlocutory and final hearings.

Lucas’ practice has consisted of acting for high-net worth individuals with interests in complex company and trust structures in Australia and overseas, advising on asset protection strategies and succession planning, and has acted for companies and other third parties to litigation. Lucas regularly acts for spouses who do not have the benefit of the control of family wealth following separation or have a limited understanding of the financial arrangements of their relationship.

Lucas has more than a decade of experience acting for parents working through complex parenting issues involving allegations of risk and family violence or abuse, international child abduction, and interstate and international relocation.

Lucas returns to Canberra, where he grew up, while engaging in preparation for the New South Wales Bar examinations.
